SLJ (Week 3 Day 5 Activities)

Persistent Pollution
On your blog, share three new things that you learned about air pollution from this video.
1. I learn't that burning coal is hurting the environment I had no idea!
2. We are causing air pollution by burning coal Green house and making Global warming faster coming.
3. I also learn't what caused smog But air pollution and fuel by cars on high ways!

Changing Climates
On your blog, tell us about five things that you like to do when it is too rainy to go outside.
1. Me and my brother love to play bored games like Monopoly Beat the parents and some much more.
2. We like to get all the blanket in the house and make forts and stuff them with pillows!
3. Turn the TV on grab the remote lets watch a movie get popcorn and a friend!
4. We love to play truth or Dare! One of us always end up doing something crazy
5. Me a like to get cozy with a blanket and a book out and sit and read!
Let it rain
On your blog, write a short story about what happened when you opened the door and walked outside after the acid rain storm. To earn full points, you must write a story that is 8 – 10 sentences long.
I open the door.... nothings the same the grass is brown and there's now leaves on the dress anymore I can only hear one bird now there's holes in the roof and fences are falling the storm hit hard. All my town in destroyed Plants are deaf and house are ruined why here of all places couldn't it hit some where else I go to call my family to make sure there okay my mum's phones flat and all the power lines are destroyed along with our cars were stuck here. We can't walk to far the storm could hit again... Were. STRANDED.

Crazy, Cool Clouds
On your blog, tell us what you see in the photo. What shape(s) do you see? Be sure to tell us which picture (1, 2 or 3) you have chosen and describe what you see in lots of detail! I chose cloud No. 1 Isn't in how clouds can come into heaps or cool different form. I defiantly see a Little Bunny Rabbit. By it's cute floppy ears and like arms you can tell what it is what do you think the clouds are?

Carbon Sinks Don’t Stink!

Togs or Trackies?
On your blog, tell us what time of year you think is best for tourists for come and visit. Be sure to share at least three things that tourists could do while they were here in NZ.

You are my Sunshine
On your blog, list five different things that we can do to protect ourselves from the sun this summer!
1. Always were Sun screen even if there's a little clouds!
2. Were a sun hat if your going out keep sun save!
3. Always were shoes or sandal or Sandals because it can hurt on the sand so be careful it will burn to!
4. Make sure you don't pack on the clothes because during a hot day its not good to have to many clothes on!
5. Try stay in the shade as much as possible to much sun isn't good even if you a wearing sun block!

Descriptive Writing 2 Term 2 Week 3

Descriptive Writing
This week we have been doing 
more writing using a different photo 
which was more challenging. I managed to
come,up with something to match the photo.
Carnival













I'm waiting in line to go on one of the colorful lighten up rides but I can barely see it the sky is illuminating the colors of the ride. I’m hungry tummy rumbling louder that a tigers roar the scent of buttery popcorn filling my nostrils, that's all I can taste its making my mouth water. The line is moving closer the butterflies turning in my stomach the sensation making my scared. The creepy circus music whistling, through the air it’s haunting.

I’m about to go on the ride I’m going up the stairs running up, the stairs excited the butterflies are gone I’m excited now!

Honestly student should not have to pay to get an education for university some may not get a good job because they can't pay. Doesn't University cost a lot? So I say NO! Student should not have to pay for education.

The Big ‘OE’
Imagine that you are a student in the 1980s and you’re about to graduate from high school. Where would you like to go on your big OE? On your blog tell us which country you would visit and give us three (3) reasons for your choice. Find some pictures on the internet of things that you would like to see and do in this count.


One place I have always wanted to go is England.
#1 The first reason is I would love to see Buckingham palace it would be amazing and its looks so big

2# I would love to look at the London Bridge and see it light up during the night it would look amazing.

3# It would love to see all the light on at night it would look so pretty and go on the massive fierce wheel.

Week 3 ( Hairy Maclary) Activity 6

Hairy Maclary

Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy. Down the path around the bend to find all of his friends. First down the street and around the bend is Bottomley potts covered in spots join him on his journey to find all of his friends, through the park and and pass the swings he finds Schnitzel Von Krumm with a very low tum. Down through town and toward the butcher is Bitzer Maloney, skinny and boney. Join them down to town past the school and past some shops is Hercules Morse,as big as a horse.
Past gates of a few other dogs is Muffin McLay like a bundle of hay. He found all his friend and walked the right way down to the dog park for a little play.

A Bilingual Schooling System
Think about your school. What is one thing that you would like change. Would you like to learn about different things? Maybe you think school should only be open 3 days a week?

There is something I would like to have at school, well something to learn for Vadim and I. What I would like  is  Sign Language classes please since my brother Oakley is deaf so we could learn and share with other kids and my family. Please it would help so much and with other kids that have deaf family member’s. Thank you.

Week 3 (Bell Bottom pants) Activity 5

Bell Bottom Pants
Fashion in the 1970s was quite unique. Take a look at the pictures of a ‘typical’ 1970s outfit and tell us, on your blog, two things that you like about 1970s fashion and two things that you don’t like about the fashion of the day. I am not a huge fan of the patterned pants. What about you?
Well 2 good things about them you can have them in a color that you like. #2 you can custom them to make them unique and fit your own style.

And 2 reason why I don't like them. Well the pattern in photo I don't really like them and they also look super tight so the wouldn't suit me.
