Last week my group were working on subtraction with borrowing this week our teacher has set us on 2 digit by 1 digit multiplication she gave us a workbook with questions to work on.

We have also have been doing Christmas tasks for numeracy and these tasks have been really fun. For my first task we were given some Christmas jokes and we had to find the answer to them by solving the maths questions!

We have also been doing Christmas codes using pictures to create a message by using the pictures instead of letters. I really enjoyed doing this task is was really fun!

We have also been working on Christmas maths stuff as well like coordinates. We had to do a reindeer with colors using coordinates. Here is my completed drawing.

This week we have been continuing with are problem solving it has been really fun I have really enjoyed working on problem solving. Here are some slide I am very proud of!  This week for problem solving I was working on using addition and multiplication to solve problems.

Literacy 
This week we have been working on writing explanation's on a household machine. We have only started the introduction but more will be up next week. I chose to do a jug.

Writing-This week for Writing we had to do a activity called what starts a new paragraph. 
Here is the completed activity. And we also had to make our show not tell amazing. 
   

Reading- This week for reading we watched a video of Peter Rabbit and we had to do a review. Our WALT was to name the Literacy elements.




Numeracy- This week we had an activity when we had to complete some time tables. And a hint is if you know your 2x you can learn you 3x.


 

Word work- This is my word work for this week I did spelling rainbow. 
All you have to do is write your spelling words and go over it with colored pencils.

Writing- This week for writing we did something called secret writing  on a slide here is mine. 

 Reading-This week we had to write a summery about Charlotte's web.  

Numeracy 

This week we have been looking at multiplication and division. And we have also been looking at Khan academy.

Reading-This week for reading with Miss Leigh we had to read to story's and then answer our question's but when we read the story's it gave us evidence to make sure we answer the questions correct.

Writing-This week for writing we got up to the bit when Charlotte writes some pig in her web. We had to write a newspaper article about it.

Reading-During Literacy with Miss Leigh this week we have been learning all about the weather. We had to answer the following questions about the weather. 

   

                 













Numeracy- For numeracy we have been using web paint and screen castify for my learning to record how we figured out the problems. I learnt that we could use tidy numbers to figure out and solve change unknown problems.
