SLJ (Week 1, Day 4 Activities)

Scaling New Heights
On your blog, post five questions
that you would like to ask
Sir Edmund Hillary about his life.
1. What was the most memorable moment other then Climbing Mt, Everest?
2.Who did you look up to as a kid?
3. If you could only pick one super power to help you climb Mt Everest other then flight what would it be?
4. What made you come up with the idea of climbing mount Everest?
5.What was your first feeling once you reached the top?
What would you ask Sir Edmund Hillary.
Pancakes and Maple Syrup?

For this activity you are asked to choose one of your favourite foods. On your blog, write the name of your favourite food and then tell us how to make it. You may need to ask a family member, friend or Google (!) for help, if you do not normally make this food for yourself.
Salt and Pepper
On your blog tell us where you would build your hotel and what you would use to build it. For an extra five points, use Google Drawings to design one room in your hotel. You can also use a paper and pencil to draw your room, take a picture of the drawing, and post it on your blog.

I'm going to put my sweet sand resort of the sore across the road in Kainere lake its a beautiful place perfect for swimming.

  1. Hi Rikki- Lee

Great to see you are blogging another year with us!
This is awesome! I really enjoyed reading your questions for Sir Edmund Hillary. I wonder what motivated him to climb Mt Everest. I would love to do something so courageous and brave.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe. This has made me quite hungry, maybe I will try to make it tonight. You haven’t told us quite how to make your Spaghetti. To gain full points you must tell us the recipe and how to make it. Please go back and complete this activity.

This is a super cool hotel design I love the way you have cropped and pasted everything so neatly. I especially love how you included where it would be! Across the road from Kainere lake must be a gorgeous. How much would you charge per night?

Keep up the creativity and hard work
