World of Wearable (WOW) Art
Let’s imagine that you were invited to this year’s WOW awards and you were able to interview the creator. On your blog, list five interview questions that you would like to ask Dame Suzie Moncrieff.
1. If you could would you use any other material?
2. What was the hardest bit of Creating this Masterpiece?
3. What was your favourite part about completing the dress?
4. are you relived you finished it?
5. What motivated you to finish the dress?
Guardians of the Sea
On your blog tell us whether, or not, you believe that taniwha exist. Be sure to explain to us why you feel this way.
You may think I'm crazy but after seeing those bubbles I do believe a taniwha could be possible but there could also be a geyser no one knew about? I believe there is because some myth are true if Maori are right there could be? What do you think?
The Sky in Shanghai
On your blog, write a poem that describes your feelings about travelling to Beijing, China..

  1. Hi Rikkie-Lee!

My name is Ellee, I work alongside Evelyn on the Summer Learning Journey team!
I can see you have been really busy with uploading your activities - amazing!
I hope you are looking forward to heading back to school soon?

    Activity One:
I really like your questions on what to ask to Dame Suzie Moncrieff! I am not sure if she was the one who created the dress in the picture on the website but it has definitely been a part of W.O.W! :)

If you had to create a W.O.W outfit what would yours be made of Rikki?
Do you have an idea of what it would look like?
I think sometimes they have themes for the outfits, that might make it a little easier to pick aye! :)

I haven't been to W.O.W before but my friend told me that it is amazing, she said it was truely an experience to see - Would you be interested in going to the show one year?

    Activity Two:
Thank you for sharing your opinion on Taniwha!
I think the times when I have felt like Taniwha's could truely exist is when I have been by lakes! There is something eerie about them and I could imagine, especially when you can't see the bottom, creatures swimming slickly through the water.
Imagine if they did exist I think that I would like there to be flying taniwha, maybe they wouldn't mind flying people around if they needed it... could be pretty handy!
    What do you think?

    Activity Three:
    Great job with this poem!
I like that you have chosen to talk about the positive parts of travelling to Beijing. :)
Sounds like you LOVE to shop! I am sure there would be some amazing shops to explore in this city.
Do you think you would like to travel there one day? Or maybe you have other places you would like to go first?

Awesome work with uploading another day of activities Rikki - What a champ! :)

    Nga mihi,
    Ellee :)
