Book Week 2016

Book Week 2016 

Wacky Thursday.
On Thursday we had a wacky day! Some people had funny hairdos and mismatched shoes. I had my onesie on. Mine was a Unicorn! I can't wait until next year. 

Door Display. 
My classes door display is AMAZING! It's theme is Charlie and the chocolate factory and The BFG. We have dreams and potions and an Oompa Loompa standing at our door! 

The Golden Ticket. 
This year we have had Golden tickets hidden around the school there is 1 everyday and we have to hunt them down. Sometimes there  really hard to find sometimes there easy. I didn't find 1 but it was fun. 1 was hidden on Mrs Costello's back! 

Buddy Reading.
For Book Week we had our little buddies come and read with us my little buddy is Sammi She read to me my book of seasons. I enjoy our buddies coming to our class! 

Book Character day! 
Today we had book character day. There were so many

amazing costume's even the teacher dressed up the theme was Harry Potter! I was Coraline. Book Character is  
my favorite.  

Week 3 Term 3 Reflection Numeracy

This week for numeracy we have been doing fractions. We have been focusing on unproper and proper fractions I have finished it and I hope there right.

Week 2 Reflection

Athlete Profiles:This week we have been focusing on the Olympics. We have chosen some New Zealand Olympic athletes and researched them and made a profile on them and they look AMAZING!!!

 Country profile: We have also been looking at countries we had research them and find out who from there country is going and how many medals some people did that. We also had to find out facts about them. Here are mine.  

Jai's anniversary

On the 18th of July it was my cousin Jai's anniversary of his death. We celebrated it at my Aunty Kate's house by writing our name's on balloon's and then letting them go together. We will remember Jai and if he was still here I would tell him that we  love him and he was strong and fought but  sadly failed. I hope he will know he was strong and brave!  We love you Jai Baby we do.... !
