Christmas in the Netherlands

The most important day is in December the 5th that's the night that Saint Nickolas brings their presents.

Sinterklaas has helpers called Zwarte Pieten  (Black peters)
and the children are told that these helpers keep a record of every good and bad thing they have done over the year. So, if they have been very well behaved they might expect to get lots of presents.
If they are very bad the Black peters will put them in a sack and take them away for a year to Spain where they believe St Nicholas lives. From there he visits Holland every year on December the 5th .
Children believe that he rides a horse on the roofs of houses and that Black peters climb down the chimney and deliver gifts.

Many people have parties on December the 5th where they share special food and play games 
Christmas day is usually a quiet family day with church and family meal.

I don't think the New Zealand flag should be changed, think of all that money wasted. Why didn't the government use it on Cancer  or something it is just ridiculous and children should be able to vote. The NZ flag should not be CHANGED AT ALL!!!!

Prince Philip--- Man belong Mrs Queen

On a island of Tanna in Vanuatu there is a small village called Yaohnanen. These people and only these people of this village believe that of hundreds of years ago the son of a mountain spirit left Vanuatu to wonder the world and search for a powerful famous woman. They believe that a descendent of the spirit is the Duke of Edinburgh, prince Philip who married Princess Elizabeth of England .She became Queen Elizabeth the second when her father died.

The villagers celebrate prince Philip day every year on February 16th and they are preparing great celebrations for 2016 when they believe prince Philip will come to Tanna to live with them.
