Week 4 (Migration) Activity 6

Migration
Speaking of home, where do you live? On your blog, please post a picture of your hometown and provide a list of three things that tourists, like us, could do if we came to visit. What do you like most about your hometown? (Remember the guidelines for being Cybersmart, and never post your address online).

My hometown is GreyMouth on the West Coast!
There's plenty to do and plenty places to go you can do the many track around the area like Coal creek falls is a really good walk and some much more. We have beaches and plenty of places to swim like Punakaiki and Lake Brunner. For kids we have an awesome skatepark and a new town square.

And markets every Sunday!

  1. Hi Rikki-Lee

I really like that you have obviously been and taken the picture of the town square to add to your post. We are very lucky to have this lovely new space in the middle of town. It is great to see when they have music and markets on in there. I hope they do it more often. Especially with all of this great weather that we are having.
The cycle track brings a lot of people to Greymouth and is a great asset to the town. As is the skate park for all the kids to play at. There is always someone there using it which is great.
We do also have great walking tracks around the town as well as wonderful places that you can go swimming. Which is good seeing as we can't use the pool!
I really like walking Point Elizabeth, have you walked this before?

Where do you like to walk and swim? Whats your favourite?

Well done Rikki-Lee you are good advertising for Greymouth.

    Until next time

    Allie :)
