The Treaty of Waitangi
On your blog, tell us three fun things that you can do as a visitor in Waitangi. Which one would you like to do the most?
1.I would love to have a look at the grounds and see what maori did.
2.Id like to go down the river in the Waka and have a look around. I would love to do this the most because going in a traditional waka would be awesome.
3.I would also like to see a Kapa haka performance and maybe learn some of the moves.

ReplyDeleteYou have chosen three fun thing to do in Waitangi. Waitangi is a very special place in New Zealand. Along with it being a huge part of our history it is also a beautiful place to visit.
I was born in Northland and I spent a lot of my holidays in the Bay of Islands staying with friends. It is somewhere that if you haven't been to you should put it on the list of places to visit.
The Treaty house has so much history with it, it is quite an amazing place to visit.
What a better place to have a trip in a traditional waka. It would be a very special thing to do.
