14 March:German troops Occupy Prague
On that day Hitler's troops invaded and take Czechoslovakia sacrificed on the altar of the Munich Pact, which was a vain attempt to prevent Germany’s imperial aims.
10 September: Canada declares war on Germany
recommendation for a Declaration of war by Canada on Nazi Germany was announced in a speech made by Canadian Prime Minister William Lyon

ReplyDeleteIt is great to see that you have shared some special day's in New Zealand where we remember events of the past. Both these day's are very important to New Zealand history and I don't think New Zealand would be the same today if these events never happened. It's great that you are bringing our attention back to these important dates. :)
For this activity, there was a small link of a timeline with some key events that happened during the Second World War. The activity asks students to choose any two of these key events and write a short summary about them. Did you manage to see the link?
