Popular Culture – The Silent Movie

I think the actor a trying to survive winter and make a living gold mining but are having trouble because its winter but one falls in love with a woman one of the men is also very stupid because he gets stuck in a lion cage.
Yes I thinks I would enjoy a silent movie it would be quite funny.

ReplyDeleteI can tell that you have watched both the trailers for Gold Rush and The Lion's Cage - awesome! It looks rather chilly in that picture of Charlie Chaplin! Gold mining in the snow sound like an extremely tricky task. Your hands would be numb and there would be snow covering all the gold! I wonder if they found any gold in the end?
Silent films do look quite funny don't they? They are definitely comedy films! You have to watch silent films very carefully, because the actors do not talk in silent films. We already know that they don't use their voices, so what do they use to communicate a story? How can we tell what the characters are feeling and what they are doing?
