  1. Hi Rikki-Lee

I just love your classroom! It is really bright and attractive. I don't think anyone will think it is boring.
I like that you have though of lots of things you will need. Firstly that you have a book shelf !! Most important!
Great that students will have the choice of sitting on cushions or at desks. Sometimes it is good to be able to do both depending on what you are working on.
Would you have an interactive board or a TV ?

You could show this to Miss Hines and Miss Power for when T2 & T3 get done up this year.

Did you enjoy this activity? Maybe you could be a designer?

    Great job Rikki-Lee!

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Kia ora Rikki,

Super work creating this classroom plan! I think it is very impressive the way you have chosen to use colour, shapes, images and labels to create this plan. All these things help to make your plan very clear and easy to follow. Well done, Rikki! :)

I also like how you have lots of devices for students to use. I bet you could do a lot of research for inquiry learning with this many devices. Your patterned mat looks awesome! I think I will have to go buy one that looks similar to yours for my own classroom. What a cool way to add a pop of colour.

What would be your favourite thing to do in your classroom? I know I'd enjoy grabbing a book to sit on one of the bean bags!

Did you enjoy using Google Draw for this activity? I haven't actually used it before so I'd be interested to know what your experience using Google Draw was like! Was it easy to use? I'd appreciate your help! :)

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)

  3. Kia Ora Rikki,

Its Jacob here. I love the bright colours I would love to be in the class that gets this room. For the activity I also went with a bright colour palette. Would you like to become a teacher?

    See you soon Rikki.

  4. Hi Rikki- Lee. It's Reagan here.

I really like how you have added in a lot of colour to make this post stand out! I also like how you have added in a couch on the mat space. Remember in Mamaku how you could use your Banqer dollars to sit on the couch!!!

Next time you might want to make the writing a bit bigger so that it is easier to read. Other than that it was a great post.

Have you enjoyed doing the Summer Learning Journey this summer?
